Falling Upward Into Under the Ocean Above

There’s a secret ocean. No one knows it’s there. It’s different because it’s invisible, and it’s surface is about five feet above the ground.

It’s not an upside-down ocean; it just doesn’t have any boundaries. It floats upward and outward infinitely in every direction from just above the surface of the whole earth.

Some people are seen with halos or auras.  Other people experience a special glow of some sweet or healing energy, like light in their presence.

Everywhere they go, the aura goes.  You never see them without becoming aware of the energy surrounding them. We associate the halo with the person, and it seems to emanate FROM them.
But the halo is a sign of elevated consciousness that uplifts, enlightens.

Somebody has a halo where the ocean comes down to embrace them, or, rather, they have become ocean, or part of them is ocean, or the person has fallen up, into the secret ocean.

The secret ocean hovers above the world, lives above the complete surface of earth.

And like Whitman said,

The change thence to the sight here, and to the subtle air breathed
by beings like us who walk this sphere,
The change onward from ours to that of beings who walk other spheres.

Character Is Fate

Thus spake “The Philosopher,” as Thomas Acquinas used to call him:  Aristotle.  When Pagliaccio murders Nedda at the end of I Pagliacci, he seals his fate as the very fool he seeks to outstretch by taking his pathetic vengeance.  Of course, Oedipus is the prime example.  In fleeing his destiny he unwittingly enacts it.

But what of the stars?  What is the character of starlight, spanning millions of light years to reach the imaginations of  humans, bedazzled by the messages expressed in night’s chorus of vision?

It is the message of longing beyond fear, beyond sorrow–the longing of love to be love for all forever for love’s just sake alone.  It’s the message of the longing that refines in the fires of want beyond hopelessness and despair, emerging as love, purged of all but the purest love of all, pure, innocent and unadorned starlight, chaste and splendid beyond all else in creation, admired and sought beyond the reach of the highest imaginings.

Because my life is a life of earthly longing, of longing in pain, in fear, in weakness, I long unto death and in despair of resolution or salvation, and look upon the object of longing with resignation that love beyond gain, beyond pleasure, beyond terrestrial being, not my love but the love of the Creator, the love of the stars, the light, emerges from my dissolution in the longing that is my sin, my lie, my falsehood, my utter despair.

Even my pathetic, ignoble death from consuming, human longing will be redeemed by the company of patient, loving heavenly bodies and the holy spirit of truth that emerges beyond all we are, bearing me up, finally, into the starlight, to become the message of falsehood and corruption purged by longing, endless human longing ended, at last, in pure light and the message of simple, infinite healing love, gently soothing the fiery want  of human longing forever from the beginning to the end of all.

I Cut The Shit Out Of My Hand On A Can Of Tomatoes When I Was Cookiing Supper Tonight

Now I’m typing with a four-layered bandage on my right hand.

The supper really didn’t turn out that well, either.

Loretta said, “It’s because you overcooked the spinach.”

Max wants to buy a new car in NH this week.

Yesterday, I skied all day at Hunter Mountain.  I haven’t had so much fun in years and years.

Blow up

It rained.  I rode the road bike anyway.  I tried to change the tube on the rear wheel of the mountain bike before work.  I had five minutes before I had to leave, and I figured I could take off the old wheel, put on the new one, and inflate the tire in three to four minutes.  I got the wheels changed quickly.  It only took me two or maybe two and one half minutes.  The axles fell right into the slots on the frame, and I hardly had to fuss with the chain at all.

I was cruising.  Started pumping up the tire.  I was using one of those powerful new hand pumps by the door of the bike room.  It took less than a minute to fill er up.  A couple of extra strokes for good measure, and then … POOM!  Popped the tube.  Shit! 

Out of time.  Couldn’t take the mountain bike after all, in spite of the forecast for rain.  Just dragged the whole thing back to the rack, grabbed the road bike, and headed out.

Later today

It just started raining as I climbed the back steps from the basement out to the street and climbed on  to ride across town.  I made it on time with two minutes to spare.

The Coming of the Cosmic Agents

In The Matrix, Anderson knows he’s being watched, followed, and when the agents come to his job, he knows they’re after him for proscribed activity.  They’re bad guys.

The Cosmic Agents that are coming to rectify our situation now are not bad guys.  The only ones who think they’re the bad guys are the actual bad guys.  Bad guys think good guys are bad guys, right?

A Vampire Squid thinks Lloyd Bridges and Jacques Cousteau are evil.

The Koch Brothers and Big Coal (and their minions, like Marsha Blackburn) think Al Gore is Snidely Whiplash.

The new Agents are different though.

The new Agents are coming to restore a healthy balance in nature, justice among mankind, and peace over the earth for everybody.  They will do it out of knowledge of what is good and righteous, and their ability to carry that out–not on the basis of what benefits one group or sub-group of the population.  We can no longer perform evil deeds while making the excuse, “I didn’t know!”

The cosmic consensus of righteousness and love exists independently of what we (think we) know or don’t know.  The coming Cosmic Agents will uphold the truth independently of us.  It will no longer matter whether we believe or know the truth.

The Smartest Animal

When I was a child my parents took (all of ) us to the Washington Zoo during one of our famous family vacation by station wagon trips.

In those days, the pens and cages had plaques that identified the animal by species and by their place in the order of animals, ie. fastest, biggest, hungriest, longest, etc…

At an empty pen with the plaque, “The Most Intelligent Animal,” there was a small mirror.

We have to restore the consciousness of truth and self-honesty in ourselves like we used to do in our children.  We may be the victims of our own errors, not because we don’t know the truth, but because we are unwilling to accept it.  The Agents will uphold the truth whether we are willing to accept responsibility for it or not.

The Good News

The Agents are already here, and many more are coming very soon.  The true change the world has been waiting for is beginning now.

The Cosmic Agents cannot be stopped, for they are empowered by the Universe itself.  They have already begun to set everything right.  Truth demands righteousness.  It is infallible.

That’s why the Agents coming to set everything right are already here and the change is begun for good now.
